Certified Early Childhood Trainer: (Grant Funded Position)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Emergent ED Shared Services Alliance (EESSA) is a program of Emergent ED Child Care Consulting. The EESSA is seeking an experienced Certified TECPDS (Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System) trainer to lead professional development trainings, both virtual and in-person for all EESSA members.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, design, and conduct workshops and training sessions for EESSA child care programs.
- Conduct one-on-one consulting sessions with child care owners and directors to determine outstanding training requirements.
- Serve as the early childhood consultant and technical assistant for child care providers.
- Design and develop training curricula, presentations and agendas that align with child care licensing annual training requirements.
- Schedule and conduct virtual training, seminars, and conferences.
- Provide oversight of EESSA calendar to ensure program goals and objectives are being met.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to create, implement, and refine aspects of provider programs.
- Monitor provider compliance through various databases including TXDFPS Child Care Licensing website to determine best practices for any state training deficiencies
- Implement program assessments and training plans to ensure continued compliance
- Develop training curricula based on provider risks and assessments for continued compliance
- Provide virtual and on-site training, referrals, consultations to all EESSA members
- Register all training's with TECPDS registry
- Create sign-in sheets and end-of-training surveys to send to all EESSA members
Develop and implement program quality assessments
- Develop program assessment activities to determine program quality and needs to support
- Assist with evaluation of current program goals and modify, if necessary
- Enter pertinent program data into Emergent ED’s CRM for tracking and monitoring purposes
- Utilize reflective practices to facilitate goal setting and regular observation feedback
- Develop and implement processes to track training renewals requirements
- Generate independently or coordinates reporting with EESSA team and submits in a timely manner
- Attend scheduled meetings with clients and stakeholders to share program success goals
- Participate in all staff monthly meetings
Other duties as assigned, including
- Represent EESSA at community events when requested
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education, psychology, business administration or related field preferred with minimum of three years of experience in the early childhood field
Required Education
- Certified Early Childhood Trainer- Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System
Minimum Skills and Experience
- Minimum of three years working in an early childhood setting
- Provided a minimum of 120 clock hours of training to adults
- Experience with development and implementation of training programs (adult learners)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to working in teams and demonstrated team leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Creativity and flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

The Emergent ED Shared Services Alliance (EESSA) is a program of Emergent ED Child Care Consulting. The EESSA is seeking an experienced Business Coach responsible for expanding the quality and efficiency of business and operational functions for all EESSA members through intensive coaching and professional development.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and evaluate customized business and financial tools to support EESSA members
- Provide high-quality, one-on-one support to EESSA members utilizing operational business expertise
- Review and advise EESSA members on current budgets to promote cost-savings where deemed necessary
- Serve as the early childhood coach and technical assistant for child care providers
- Design, develop, and collaborate with EESSA members to build effective business practices
- Schedule and conduct virtual seminars, conferences, and specific projects as assigned.
- Support EESSA members in leveraging resources to maintain business sustainability.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to create, implement, and refine aspects of provider programs.
- Assist EESSA members with goal setting and action planning to establish efficient processes and systems within individual programs
- Develop strategic relationships that enhance programmatic efficiency for alliance members
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors that promote cost-saving goods and services
- Foster a culture that values partnership, embraces diversity, inclusivity, and is consistent with the goals of the organization.
- Report program metrics in Emergent ED’s CRM system
Provide one-on-one support to EESSA members utilizing case management processes
- Assist with the assessment of the provider’s operational efficiency through database reports and feedback
- Develop program assessment activities to determine program quality and needs to support all alliance members
- Assist with evaluation of current program projects and modify, if necessary
- Generate independently or coordinates reporting with EESSA team and submits in a timely manner
- Keep leadership updated on status of current projects and progress on goals
- Attend scheduled meetings with clients and stakeholders to share program success goals
- Participate in all staff monthly meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education, finance, business administration or related field preferred with minimum of three years of experience in the early childhood field
- Previous small business owner or child care program leader
Minimum Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge of early childhood programs
- Minimum of three year’s operating a child care program independently
- Experience with development and implementation of training programs and budget oversight
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to working in teams and demonstrated team leadership skills

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Emergent ED Shared Services Alliance (EESSA) is a program of Emergent ED Child Care Consulting. The EESSA is seeking an experienced Licensing Compliance Support Specialist to assist alliance members with maintaining child care licensing compliance, by providing support both virtual and in-person. The Compliance Support Specialist must have an in-depth knowledge of the Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers and Child Care Homes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, design, and conduct compliance plans for EESSA child care programs.
- Conduct one-on-one consulting sessions with child care owners and directors to determine most recent deficiencies issued by HHS Child Care Licensing
- Serve as the compliance support specialist and technical assistant for child care providers.
- Assist EESSA members in creating processes and systems to improve program compliance
- Schedule and conduct virtual training seminars and conferences specifically designed to increase provide awareness of the Texas Minimum Standards for child care programs
- Provide oversight of EESSA calendar to ensure program goals and objectives are being met.
