Parenting: Family Engagement
Family engagement is a collaborative and strengths-based process through which early childhood professionals, families, and children build positive and goal-oriented relationships. It also supports the parent-child relationships that are central to a child’s healthy development and well-being.
After completing this training, you should be able to:
- Understand the importance of family and community engagement in schools
- Identify key roles and responsibilities of educators in family engagement
- Implement communication strategies to encourage family engagement
